Every August the Rocky Mountain Jaguar Club joins other British Marques in Highlands Ranch at the Highland Games and Bag Pipe Festival (click here for details about the festival).  Display your car and receive 2 free adult passes to a day of Scottish culture including music, sports, dancing and food.  The cars are not judged, but  there are awards for peoples choice and judges choice.  Also, plan for warm weather (it is August after all!) and just "show and shine"...this is a very relaxed event.  We do have a club tent that everyone gathers under and it is a great place to visit with friends.  Come have fun watching the Caber Toss (aka Men in Skirts Throwing Telephone Poles), Bag Pipe Competitions and many other uniquely Scottish events!

The 2008 Highland Games will be held on 9 and 10 August, with the car show being on Sunday, 10 August.  For those participating in the car show, please meet at the post office at the intersection of Quebec and University-Lincoln by 9:30am to parade in at 10:00am.  Since Jaguars lead the parade into the event please be there by 9:30am...if we are late getting in place that really messes things up.
