Conclave is a British term for Private Meeting and is our last big car event each year. This two day event is based out of Oak Park in Arvada.

The weekend starts with the "Ride the Rockies" drive on Saturday to a fun (but always mysterious) destination for lunch.  Conclave weekend continues with the big car show on Sunday.  We join with about 10 other British marques totaling over 500 British cars for a fun event. It is always amazing to see this many British cars (that all run!) together in one place at the same time. There is no judging of cars of any kind, but there is a peoples choice vote for favorite sports car and favorite sedan within each marques. Ribbons are awarded at 2 pm. We do have quite a few local vendors showing their wares of British parts, books and literature. Swap Spaces are available for those who have British stuff of their own they want to sell.

The 2008 Conclave will be held 20 & 21 September.  For those participating in the "Ride the Rockies" drive on Saturday, the drive starts from Oak Park at 10am.  Please be at the park between 8:30 and 9:30am for registration and the pre-drive briefing.  

For those participating in the car show, please plan to arrive at Oak Park on Sunday morning around 7:00am, and certainly no later than 8:00am when the show begins.  The Jaguar Club will provide a large submarine sandwich for lunch and club members bring a side dish or a dessert to share.  This year the event will include a "Conclave Concours Circle", where 10 Marquees will be judged and awards given for the best car in each Marquee.  Judges are needed, but are not allowed to judge their own Marquee.
